Every project starts with a conversation — not a sales pitch. We take time to understand how you live in your home, what frustrates you about the technology you have today, and what you wish it could do. From there, we design a system around your lifestyle and present a clear, detailed proposal so you know exactly what you’re getting before anything is ordered or installed.
Once work begins, we coordinate directly with your general contractor, electrician, interior designer, and architect so that the technology integrates seamlessly into the construction process without creating delays or surprises. After installation, we commission and tune every system, walk you through how everything works, and remain your dedicated point of contact for the life of the system. This is a long-term relationship, not a one-time transaction. -
We design and install complete smart home systems for high-end residential clients. That typically includes home audio and video, lighting control, motorized shading, whole-home networking and WiFi, surveillance cameras, HVAC control, and garage access — all unified under a single control platform so everything works together intuitively.
For clients who want to go further, we also design and install architectural linear lighting systems, micro LED and large-format video walls, and intercom systems with smart access features. Every system is designed as a cohesive whole — not a collection of independent devices that happen to share a wall. -
Not unless you want to be. Our job is to translate your lifestyle preferences into a technical solution — you shouldn’t need to understand the difference between a processor and a switch to get a system that works beautifully.
What we do ask is that you share how you live: how you entertain, how you move through the house, what annoys you about technology today, and what would make your home feel effortless. We take that information and make the technical decisions on your behalf. You review the experience, not the spec sheet. -
It isn’t — and that’s intentional. We design every system around simplicity. A single app on your phone or iPad gives you control of every system in the home. Elegant keypads in each room handle the moments when you don’t want to reach for your phone. And for clients who want it, a discreet remote control lets you speak a command or press a single button to change everything in the room.
The moments we design for are the ones that matter most: pressing one button when you leave so every light, TV, and audio system turns off automatically. Arriving home to a lit, welcoming entrance. Dimming the lights and closing the shades from bed without getting up. These aren’t complicated sequences — they’re quiet, reliable moments that make the home feel like it’s working for you. -
Yes — and this is something we take seriously. In a home at this level, technology that looks out of place is technology that failed. We work closely with your interior designer and architect to ensure every visible element — keypads, faceplates, speakers, displays — integrates cleanly with the design intent of each space.
In many rooms, the technology disappears entirely. Speakers are invisible. Wiring is concealed. Lighting control replaces banks of switches with a single, elegantly engraved keypad. Displays like the Samsung Frame TV show artwork when they’re not in use. Faceplates are selected by your designer, not us. Our role is to make sure the technology serves the design — not the other way around. -
As early as possible — ideally before walls are closed. The earlier we’re involved in a renovation, the better the outcome. Infrastructure decisions made in the framing stage directly affect what’s possible when it’s time for final installation. Retrofitting technology into a finished space is always more complicated and more expensive than planning for it from the start.
We work directly with your entire project team — your interior designer, architect, and general contractor — and we come prepared. We provide each trade with the resources and specifications they need to do their part of the work correctly, whether that’s rough-in drawings for the electrician, coordination details for the millwork contractor, or design input for the architect on where keypads and interfaces will live in the space. Our goal is to make sure every member of your team has what they need so the project moves forward without technology becoming a source of delay or rework.
We attend coordination meetings, align our installation schedule with the construction timeline, and communicate proactively at every phase. The contractors and designers we work with regularly tell us the same thing — we make their process easier, not harder. -
New construction is where we do some of our best work — because we have the opportunity to be involved from the very beginning, before a single wall goes up. That early involvement changes everything.
During the design phase, we work alongside your architect, interior designer, and general contractor to ensure the home is built to support the technology you want to live with. That means collaborating where equipment rooms and racks will be located, how infrastructure will be routed through the structure, where keypads and interfaces will be positioned for both function and aesthetics, and how lighting, shading, and AV systems will integrate with the architectural design. These conversations at the design stage prevent the compromises that happen when technology is added as an afterthought.
We provide your project team with detailed specifications, rough-in documentation, and coordination resources so every trade — electrician, millwork contractor, HVAC contractor — knows exactly what to prepare for. We attend design and construction meetings as needed and remain a consistent presence throughout the build.
The result is a home where the technology feels like it was always meant to be there — because it was designed in from day one. When you move in, everything works. There are no visible workarounds, no afterthought placements, and no compromises. Just a home that performs exactly the way it was designed to. -
Many of our clients are multi-property households, and we design with that in mind from the beginning. Whether you have a primary residence in the city and an estate in the Hamptons, or properties in multiple states, we work to ensure your systems are consistent, familiar, and manageable across all of them.
That means the same control interface, the same service relationship, and a single point of contact who knows every property. When you walk into any of your homes, it should feel the same — intuitive, reliable, and yours.

This is one of the most important questions you can ask — and one that most AV companies don’t answer well. We lead with our service commitment because we believe it defines the relationship more than anything else we do.
Every Acoustic Visions client has access to 24/7 remote support. When something isn’t working, you reach us directly — not a call center. We offer three service plans so you can choose the level of support that fits how you use your home, from standard remote assistance to proactive system monitoring with priority scheduling, same-day onsite availability, and regular technology reviews. We’re not done when the truck leaves. We’re just getting started. To learn more about our support options click here!

This is a question worth asking, and we appreciate clients who think about it. Technology evolves, and a system designed today will eventually need to grow with it. The platforms we specify are chosen in part for their longevity — manufacturers who invest in software updates, backward compatibility, and long product lifecycles.
Beyond platform selection, our proactive service plans include regular technology reviews where we assess your system, identify anything that needs attention, and recommend updates before they become problems. We’d rather have that conversation proactively than reactively. A well-maintained system stays current much longer than one that’s ignored after installation — and we’re here to make sure that doesn’t happen.
